Tasmanian teachers and students can benefit by using the online gallery as an educational resource into the future.

Teacher’s resources will become available as the Faces From Our Town project progresses. So watch this space!

The online gallery will also benefit the Tasmanian community by developing and contributing to building a sense of identity, community spirit and cohesion and promoting empathy and understanding for immigrants, by profiling their stories, skills, talents and resilience and the richness they add to Tasmanian life.  

The Tasmanian community can be engage in the project through the ‘invitation to nominate participants’ process. Message Paul County, the project coordinator here.

Tara Smith explored her emerging passion for the fashion and modelling industry. Through her involvement with the Faces from our Town project, Tara was able to hone her photography skills and create an industry-ready portfolio.
